EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE IS AN INNOVATIVE FIRST AID PROGRAMME WITH  COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTION IN PRIMARY CARE (CPR) AND SECONDARY CARE   (First Aid). PRIMARY CARE PREPARES STUDENTS TO RENDER AID TO PEOPLE WITH  LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES. SECONDARY CARE BUILDS UPON WHAT  STUDENTS LEARNED IN PRIMARY CARE AND HELPS THEM ASSIST THOSE IN NEED  WHEN THE EMERGENCY SERVICE IS EITHER DELAYED OR UNAVAILABLE

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE BASIS

The EFR Program is based on established instructional design and educational protocols to render an educationally valid and credible product. The courses are flexible and accommodate individual learning styles using a variety of media.. EFR follows the standards set by the consensus view of basic life support (BLS). Working group of the ILCOR is an international standards group representing many of the world’s major resuscitation organisations. A source authority for the development of content material in the Emergency First Response programme. Guidelines 2000 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, International Consensus on Science, American Heart Association and also cited in Resuscitation the official journal of the European Resuscitation Council. Medical Content is reviewed by an international group of respected physicians and the programme was beta tested in several global locations. The EFR Programme delivers professional, educationally and medically reviewed CPR and first aid courses that meet international standards, yet allows flexibility for regional variations it is also HSE recognised for United Kingdom Use
